  • December is complex, with aspects taking us to the past, to wade through emotional content ripe for release, and then preparing us to take on the new. New Moon in Sagittarius on December 2. Mercury joins the Sun on December 5 to lighten up attitudes, and bring a bit of optimism. Mars moves into Libra on December 7, and begins the process that will culminate in a Cardinal Grand Square by the end of the month. There's a grand trine in water on December 9, and a Full Moon in Gemini on December 17. Uranus stations direct also on the 17th. We have the Winter Solstice on December 21, as the Sun shifts into Capricorn. That same day, Venus stations retrograde until January 31. On December 24, Mercury moves into Capricorn. From the 26th to the end of the month, we have the Cardinal Grand Cross.
  • November starts out with intensity, and carries it forward throughout the month.   • Undercurrents of tension and conflict make the final days of summer less than joyful, but we can use the energy of Virgo to be discerning, and be willing to make improvements. A Mars square Saturn aspect brings frustration but perhaps a willingness to look closely at our behavior, and challlenge ourselves as to what is the best path in which to move toward the future. We'll have the compassion of Jupiter in Cancer, the humility of a New Moon in Virgo, the Moon's Nodes with lots of important aspects. There is a New Moon in Gemini, but as the month moves along, the water emphasis seems only to increase. June 20-21 brings the Summer Solstice, and two days later we have the Full Moon in Capricorn!
